GIVING

Giving to others is how we spread His love.

online giving FAQ

Giving is at the heart of who we are at the Saskatchewan Synod. Here are a few helpful details to guide your generosity.

  • Why is giving important to the mission of the Saskatchewan Synod?

The synod is supported chiefly by  little and middle sized and large congregations passing a plate during their gatherings, and sending a voluntary percentage or a set amount forward to our Synod for the cooperative work that no single congregation could take on by themselves.

  • Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. The Saskatchewan Synod is a registered charitable organization. You will receive a tax receipt for your donation at year-end.

  • Can I designate my gift to a specific ministry or purpose?

Absolutely. You may choose to direct your gift toward general ministry, a specific congregation, Indigenous ministry, youth programs, or other designated funds listed on our giving page.

  • How can I give?

You can give online through our secure donation portal, by mailing a cheque, or by setting up a pre-authorized debit. Full instructions are available on our Giving page.

  • Can I give monthly?

Yes. Many supporters choose monthly giving as a convenient way to sustain ministry year-round. Simply select the recurring gift option when donating online.

  • Who can I contact with questions about giving?

If you have questions or need help with your donation, please contact the Synod Office at 306-244-2474 or email info@sasksynod.ca.
