At Lutheran Theological Seminary we serve three purposes:
We provide education about Christian thought and leadership for people who want to increase their understanding and skills.
With us, you might take a degree in something general, like the Bible or Christian Theology. Or, you might opt for a program in a specialized area, like Diaconal Studies. We offer basic degrees, such as various Master of Theological Studies options. For more advanced students, we share in the Master of Theology degree offered with Saskatoon Theological Union (STU) partners. If you don’t have a prior degree, talk to us, because we may be able to admit you based on other educational and life accomplishments.

Since its inception, Martin Luther University College (formerly Waterloo Lutheran Seminary) has been a leader with long-term vision. Starting as a seminary with four students in 1911, its community grew to found Wilfrid Laurier University, and was instrumental in the establishment of the University of Waterloo. It is a wonderful shared history, indeed!
